Week 4 Preview

Yet another 4-1 week last week for us, making the writing staff 12-3 on the season. Which we are very happy about, but we are still searching for perfection. So, let's get to it. Teams are starting to separate themselves, and we have had our first in season trade as the race to be in the top 6 will pick up quickly. Real quick, fun reminder, we have games Thursday night, Sunday at 930am, Sunday at 1, Sunday at 4, Sunday night, and Monday night, so just a whole lot of football!

Tirico 3-0 (147.11) vs. King Derek 2-1 (135.70)

The big matchup of the week, the #1 pick against the #2 pick. Gibbs scored 38.20 fantasy points last week and still would have lost the head-to-head matchup against Robinson, who dropped a 40 burger. We predict the Saints and Atlanta in the dome to be very high scoring Monday night. But before that on Sunday night Gibbs and the Lions take on Carolina, who has scored over 30 points in 2 of their 3 games themselves, so expect two 38-35 games Sunday and Monday night, which of course means the games will be 10-7 defensives slugfests with lots of punts. As for the rest of this matchup, the Steelers D is starting for Tiricoooooooooo tomorrow night, so he will have a lead to start, and guess what, he will have a lead to finish. We feel he will ride the Allen to Moore double dip combo to the win. Plus, we don't like Hampton's matchup at Seattle, and we can see a garbage TD for Lamb in Houston, which is a double swing with Tirico having Lamb and Derek starting the Texans D. It will be close and a great matchup, but for at least one week maybe the Lions throw to St Brown and others a little more and try not to kill Gibbs before week 6. Tirico wins 150-143.

3 Time Emmy Winner 3-0 (127.73) vs. The Never Ending Hootie world Tour 0-3 (124.11)

This is projected to be a very close matchup, and the writing staff agrees with the best fantasy site out there, by far. This matchup gets going tomorrow night with Fanninn and the Browns D, yes, you read that right, Sloney is starting the Browns defense in fantasy football this week. But who are we to question a three-time sports Emmy winner and one of the still remaining undefeated teams playing. (Editor's Note: When actually looking at it the Browns D has scored in double digits every game this year so far, see that's why he wins awards folks.)  Sunday morning C&J music factory has JCM playing before the Sunday afternoon games hit. Some matchups we don't like for them though this week, Dak against the very tough Texans D, La Dee Dee at Seattle, and Barkley against the Rams. However, Jefferson against Miami should help Chris and Jason. If King Henry doesn't score enough points by himself to win, the Shough to Olave double dip will close it out for Sloney on Monday night, as Jer wins 138-130.

Bambino 3-0 (125.64) vs. Best Man Robb 1-2 (130.72)

Santino isn't happy being undefeated, he also made a big trade this week as he is going all in! This matchup does feature someone playing in every time slot, which is always fun. Tomorrow night, Santino has KC, Sunday morning, Warren for BMR, besides normal Sunday times, we also have Sunday night, Bates and LaPorta, and then the newest member of Team Bambino, Drake London on Monday night. We feel it will be close, but things are just turning up Santino right now. 2026 is the year of the Bambino, he has recently celebrated an Anniversary and a Birthday, and several sources close to the situation are reporting he will be in the happiest place on earth Mt. Pleasant Michigan and ALWAYS SUNNY, Kelly/Shorts Stadium this weekend, so the good times will continue to roll. Bambino remains undefeated and gets the better of best man Robb this week. Santino wins 135-130.

The Wise Guy 3-0 (137.20) vs. G-Money 0-3 (129.51)

Brought to you by: Wiseguy intro

Last week we fell for the Comish on a power trip trying not to lose every game, we will not fall for it again. Even though the projections will have Greg in the lead after he moves the Ravens form his bench to the defensive spot, but the former Dean is too smart for that. Rite Aid will start with a lead with Judkins going tomorrow night, in the worst Thursday Night football matchups in almost a week. But then Sunday morning happens and JTT will run all over THE WASHINGTONS, however, that lead will not last for Greg. For one, McLaurin is going in that game for Ryan, plus any lead that the boss builds during the 1pm slot will quickly be evaporated in the 4pm window with KW3, JSN and Kittle and A-Aron Jones Sr scoring more than enough that McMillian will not have to do anything on Sunday night football, but against the atrocious Lions defense he still will. Wiseguy with the win 150-139

DP 0-3 (134.07) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 0-3 (130.52)

Brought to you by: Beck - Loser (Official Music Video)

Someone has to win right? J&R will at least have a lead to start the week with Warren going tomorrow night, but sadly for American's favorite couple that is where the fun stops. On Sunday the best former AD in MHSAA history will make his presence felt and after a strong start during the 1pm window, the afternoon window will seal it, that he will not even need St Brown to go off on Sunday night, but he will anyway. Kamara may get Jennifer & Ronny some points Monday night to make it a little closer, but Pitts playing will not help at all clearly and DP comes away with a 138-125 win.
